The cost of the license for this software is already covered under the Campus Agreement and a nominal fee will be charged by the vendor to cover the cost of supplying the media. Work at home rights are still available but there is only a limited number of seats and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. This should allow us to cover all of our 662 machines in computer labs, and another 89 “Smart Classrooms.” While there are seats for faculty/staff computers, there is not enough to cover all. Half of our total computers will be covered for the full CC suite, and the other half will have Adobe Acrobat. Once logged in to a machine to use Adobe products, the user will be prompted every 90 minutes to login again. Then they are taken to a second Purchase specific login screen where they will need to login a second time (firstname.lastname only) followed by email credentials. ![]() They should enter followed by email password. When one of these “Named Users” sits down at a “Shared Device” and starts up any Creative Cloud component, they will be prompted with an Adobe ID sign on screen first. “Enrolling” all faculty, all staff and all students as named users means that they will all be set up with Creative Cloud accounts for “Spark” – a free tracking token that is a component of CC. We will have to enroll all faculty, all staff and all students as “Named Users” so that they can a) use a lab machine and b) in the case of faculty/staff, get work-at home rights. The new licensing agreement allows us to use “shared device licenses” for most of our labs, and “named user licenses” for all of our faculty and staff workstations.
